I am dr. Dóra Makra-Homolay, Hungarian attorney-at-law, founder of Makra-Homolay Law Firm.
I graduated as a lawyer at Károli Gáspár University in 2008. From 2008, I was working as a junior lawyer, and from 2012, as an employed attorney-at-law in an acknowledged high-proficiency law firm, where I have gained experience in several fields of law, thanks to the wide range of legal tasks. As a senior attorney, I was coordinating the works of the other attorneys, following up and checking the fulfilment of ongoing legal projects, and simultaneously, I was also participating in the legal tasks of court procedures, keeping contact with clients, and doing other operative legal works. My experience covers legal services for companies, state organs and private individuals in litigation and other legal procedures, as well as full comprehensive corporate and civil law services in a wide range of business matters.
After the birth of my daughter and the maternity leave, in October 2023 I returned to work, and have started to provide legal services to clients as a self-employed attorney-at-law. In November 2024, I founded my own law firm, which can serve the clients comprehesively, as a separate legal entity.
In my work, I intend to solve matters not only based on legal regulations, but with a complex business attitude. It is my principle that my clients do not need only a legal analysis of a certain problem, but they need a solution which is the most suitable legally and also serves their business purpose.
Experience
- full-comprehensive legal service to companies (e.g. preparation or review of contracts; legal advice in labour law, and in other legal questions arising during the operative work);
- litigation and other court procedures (warranty, liability, protection of possession, leasing, debt collection, and other procedures);
- legal services in corporate law matters and company registration procedures;
- property sale and lease transactions;
- legal representation and advisory in labour law issues;
- debt collection by litigation and other procedures;
- data protection due diligence, advice, documentation;
- preparation and/or legal review of company and organization policies;
- legal services in trademark, design and patent registration procedures and disputes, in national, EU and international level.
